- ITALIAN MEMBERS (amateur cyclists and cycle tourists) with a valid membership card for the year of the event issued by the Italian Cycling Federation or by sports promotion bodies recognised by the C.O.N.I. or foreign federations recognised by the U.C.I., which guarantee the required insurance coverage.

(Supplementary coverage for membership as per Article 15 of the ‘Insurance policy for civil liability towards third parties and employees’) to be added to the cost of registration.
CERTIFICATE REQUIRED FOR NON-MEMBERS: A medical certificate issued for non-competitive sports activities is also accepted for participation. (Certificates of good health are not valid).
*Certificates must be valid on the date of the event.
- Membership regularises the participant’s position from an insurance point of view, provided that they are in possession of a medical certificate of fitness for competitive or non-competitive cycling, as referred to in Article 4 of Ministerial Decree 164/24.04.2013. The issue of the above-mentioned card requires the participant to be in possession of a valid identity document and tax code. It is also mandatory to complete and sign the ethical declaration at the same time as the daily card is issued, both for Italian and foreign citizens, as required by S.A.N. communiqué no. 2.
- The event is open to all adults, while minors who are not members must provide written consent from their parents in addition to the above-mentioned documents.
- LA FURIOSA complies with the technical regulations for cycle tourism; the regulations for such events require the use of a modern approved helmet. For historic cycling events, in any case, the use of an approved safety helmet (modern or vintage style) is permitted and strongly recommended by the S.A.N. implementing regulations of the Italian Cycling Federation, which LA FURIOSA complies with.
- Only cyclists with vintage racing bicycles built before 1987 (not mountain bikes, cyclocross or time trial bikes) will be allowed to start; with gear levers on the down tube of the frame or on the ends of the handlebars, with pedals equipped with toe clips and straps, and with brake cables running outside the handlebars.
Exceptions to the type of bicycle will be granted for participants with motor or sensory disabilities who make a specific request to the organisation. - It is also compulsory to wear clothing appropriate and consistent with the bicycle used, i.e. shorts and woollen jerseys from the various periods (for the 1980s, synthetic materials are also acceptable), caps, shoes and appropriate accessories.
- Anyone who shows up at the start with a bicycle that does not comply with these regulations will not be admitted.
- The management reserves the right to refuse admission to cyclists with ridiculous clothing or behaviour.
- During the event, cyclists who are not officially registered will not be allowed to join the groups, under penalty of removal.
- La FURIOSA is an invitation-only event and the Organising Committee may, at any time and at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide further justification, decide whether or not to accept anyone’s registration.
