All of the historical landmarks are also waiting for you: the majestic Estense Castle surrounding by one of last remaining moats in Europe; the splendid Cathedral; the Ariostea square, where the historic Palio of Ferrara is held; the “Palazzo dei Diamanti” (the Diamond palace,) home of important art exhibitions; and the grandiose medieval walls which frame the start and the end of the Granfondo race.
The “Granfondo del Po” is an occasion for the people of Ferrara to introduce to you our city and our region. We have an itinerary for the entire family.
Saturday March 9th
Arrival in Ferrara. Check-in to the selected hotel. Entertainment program in the historical center of Ferrara.
– 15.00 The organizing seretariat in Crispi Place in via Borgo dei Leoni, 28. opens for final registration, technical packet and race packet withdrawal and new registration .
– 18.00 The organizsing secretariat closes. After closing an aperitivwill be served for all cyclist whose have booked their hotel package with LINKTOURS our partner travel agency
Sunday March 10th
Breakfast in the hotel.
09.30 La Furiosa stars in Piazza Ttento e Trieste. After arrival lunch in the Estense Castle.
